Hamza Mustafa Memorial Bursary

Here in New Zealand, we are fortunate in so many ways, but like the rest of the world, we are not immune from tragedy. In 2019, tragedy struck Christchurch in the form of a terrorist attack that firstly shocked us and broke our hearts, but then galvanised our communities to band together to strive for a better NZ.

As the 2nd anniversary of this tragedy has passed we look towards a better future, with the opportunity to remember what was lost, and what still may be gained from this tragedy. With the support of VetSouth, Massey University School of Veterinary Science now invites applications for the Hamza Mustafa Memorial Bursary, in remembrance of a young man whose dreams of becoming a vet were interrupted that fateful day.
